This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit, contact or make a purchase from www.protrackrlogbooks.com (the “Site”).

How Do We Collect Your Personal Information?

You directly provide our site with most of the data collected, for example:

  • When you place an order for any of our products.
  • When you voluntarily complete a customer survey, review or feedback form.
  • When you visit our website, we automatically receive your Usage Data such as IP Address.

In addition, ProTrackr is hosted on Shopify who provide an online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products to you.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, returns and exchanges, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you.
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising related to our products or services.
  • Third Party providers used by ProTrackr collect, use and disclose information they require to enable them to perform the services they provide to us, i.e. Shopify (see below).

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

What Legal Basis Do We Rely on To Process Your Information?

Consent – We may process your information if you have given us permission to use your personal information for a specified purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Performance of a Contract – We may process your personal information when we believe it is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, i.e. providing you our services, customer support, etc.

Legitimate Interests – We may process your information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests and those interests do not outweigh your interests and fundamental rights and freedom. Eg send users information about special offers, analyse how our services are used so we can improve on them.

Legal Obligations – We may process your information where we believe it is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations, such as to cooperate with a law enforcement body or regulatory agency, exercise our legal rights, detect and investigate fraudulent, or illegal activity.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, our store is hosted on Shopify.  They provide us with the online e commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.  Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. 

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and these requirements ensure the secure handling of credit card details by our service provider. The PCI Security Standards Council which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover ensure that direct payment gateways adhere to PI-DSS standards.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.  You can withdraw your consent for us to have your information by contacting us at admin@protrackrlogbooks.com.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
